'Green Nobel' for forest champion

Though paper is made from pulp extracted from trees, indiscriminate deforestation of the earth  without regards to the environment and the socio-economic impact to the people living there is unkind to the environment. An environment-friendly paper should be paper from well a managed forest. We are reminded of this passion to care for the surroundings by one brave African .Marc Ona Essangui [no relation to the present writer] was honoured for his fight to stop what he describes as a destructive mining project in the Ivindo National Park.
